Storm Water Rate Information
- Each account is assigned an ITE Code (Institute of Transportation Engineers). An ITE Code is a category that specifies the buildings land use.
- Each ITE Code has an ADT value (ADT) Average Daily Trips.
- Each account is also measured by a unit. Depending on the ITE Code, the type of unit may differ. The most common units are DU (Dwelling Units) or 1,000 SFGFA (Square Footage of Gross Floor Area)
- The combination of ADT and unit value are used to determine the annual charge for any given property. That charge is broken into twelve installments by the billing system and billed monthly.

Wastewater/Sewer Rate Information
- Each account is assigned a bill code. Bill codes correspond to your property's land use.
- Residential bill codes 101 and 102 are charged a base amount and a volume amount base on your wintertime average consumption (months October-March).
- Bill codes 200, 300, 400, and 500 are charged a base amount and a volume amount equal to the raw water consumption for any given billing period.
- Bill code 600 is an industrial rate. The industrial rate is composed of a base amount, a volume amount, and wastewater strength charges.
- All other bill codes are flat rate bill codes. Flat rate bill codes only charge a base amount. Flat rate bill codes are assigned to accounts with no meter to read to calculate the property's water consumption.
